BABYMETAL Team With Spiritbox For "My Queen," New Album 'METAL FORTH' Out Now

As one commenter put it, they're collecting international collabs like Infinity Stones.

BABYMETAL have unleashed their latest LP METAL FORTH, after delays and hype in equal measure, but damn did these J-idols deliver in the end. We will have a review in the comind days, but for now, the global stars have hard-launched another collaboration in "My Queen," calling upon the game-changers in Spiritbox to climb the altar and claim their place as gods.

The vocal chops of the trio are well-established, and adding Courtney's powerful screams to the bridge only drives the point home. Mike Stringer's pick scrapes and chugging riffs are a welcome addition, with the overall instrumentation sounding like something that would have fit on the Rotoscope EP that Spiritbox put out a couple years ago, AKA their most nu metal-sounding release to date.

The music video directed by Deathcats is a monochromatic tale of good versus evil, with some striking visuals, particularly in the omnipotent Evil One, portrayed by Brooks Ginnan.

METAL FORTH is out now via Capitol Records. Check out "My Queen" featuring Spiritbox below:
