After over a decade of hiatus, crossover thrash and proto-nu metal quartet Biohazard are back. Following teases which came late last year, with those coming after years of a reformed Biohazard going on tour to recapture the raw glory of old, the band have released their first new song in thirteen years.
"Forsaken," released through BLKIIBLK Records, an imprint of Frontiers Music, is a pounding D-beat punisher, with the vocal duo of guitarist Billy Graziadei and bassist Evan Seinfeld giving it all kinds of hell, showing that they are back in a big way. Matt Hyde, known for producing albums such as Slayer's God Hates Us All, produced the song.
In an interview with Consequence of Sound, Graziadei talks about the music video, which was shot in Melkweg, a Dutch venue which served as where the band "first made our bones in Europe back in the late 80s and 90s."
No word on the release date or the title of the new album, but it is coming, and will be the band's first in nearly fifteen years. Stream "Forsaken" below:
