Arizona rockers in DED made their comeback onto the scene in 2025 with the release of their third studio album Resent. The culmination of blood, sweat, and tears was worth the trials and tribulations that the band went through, resulting in a unique and well-rounded album that feels authentic. Intense pressure turns coal into diamonds, and that is no different for DED and Resent.
Now, DED have announced that they will be releasing a deluxe edition of Resent, available on July 3rd. The release comes just in time for their headlining "Anti-Everything" summer tour, which kicks off in the band's home state of Arizona on July 11th. The deluxe edition will consist of five B-side songs six demos from the writing and recording sessions of Resent. The first of these to be released is their new track "Weapon", which was mixed and mastered by the band's own bassist, Kyle Koelsch.
"Weapon" is a song about using music as a form of escapism, empowerment, and self-expression. Whether one wants to forget about the stresses of daily life or needs an outlet for their strong emotions, it is always there for everyone. Music can provide a safe space, a place to rebel, as well as a place to bring people together.
