Electric Callboy have had a transformative 2025, between the arrival of ex-Sum 41 drummer Frank Zummo and their symphonic metal-tinged "Revery." As the German electronicore group are touring the world through the beginning of 2026, teases for doing "the thing" have hit socials:
Today (August 19th), the band have revealed that "the thing" is in fact a new song, this time a cover of Sum 41's "Still Waiting" which will release this Friday, August 22nd, in what is already going to be a busy day for music fans.
Zummo has featured prominently on his new band's YouTube channel, with drum playthroughs of the aforementioned "Revery," "Elevator Operator," and "RATATATA" being released since his onboarding in June.
The original song featured on Sum 41's Does This Look Infected?, which dropped in 2002. Zummo played on the band's final three studio albums before leaving earlier this year.
