Rochester trio Glasswaves recently signed with SharpTone Records, with their first single on the label being "fvck.me.up," and now the band have followed it up with a moody new song in "doomed:2:DIE." Hushed vocal tones and a sense of urgency buffered by electronic and industrial elements power things forward.

On the subject matter of the new single, singer Noah Rich offered:

"'doomed:2:DIE' is what it feels like when your body is convinced it's dying, but your mind is trapped there to watch it happen."

Glasswaves will be supporting What Lies Below for the shows commemorating the latter's new album I LET IT CONSUME ME, out July 10th. The two bands will be joined by Wither Away in Harrisburg, PA that night, with another show the following night in Syracuse, NY. The Syracuse show will feature Glasswaves and WLB as co-headliners, with support from Consider Me A Stranger, For The Better, Afterward, and Amatera.
