Halsey & Amy Lee Drop Music Video For 'Ballerina' Soundtrack Feature "Hand That Feeds"

Amy Lee even sports her iconic ponytail from the "Going Under" video.

This Friday sees the release of Ballerina, the spinoff film of the ultra-successful John Wick franchise. Front and center this time is Eva Maccaro (Ana de Armas), along with Anjelica Huston, Ian McShane, and Lance Reddick in his final performance before his death in 2023.

Ahead of the film's premiere, the music video for "Hand That Feeds" by Halsey and Amy Lee has been released, after the song's streaming debut on May 9th. There is also a new song by Lee's band Evanescence titled "Fight Like A Girl" that is set to be on the film's soundtrack as well. The song is co-written and produced by Jordan Fish, previously of Bring Me the Horizon.

The video, directed by Hannah Lux Davis, features tight choreography and striking visuals, with Lee's hair in a high ponytail as she had it in the music video for "Going Under" over two decades ago. Her and Halsey's vocals work so well together, with Lee's vocals showing a rare restraint. She is no less powerful in her delivery, but there are no belts or super high notes to be had. The song is a sharper dark pop track, though Lee's verse does feature some requisite guitars.

The World of John Wick: Ballerina is in theaters this Friday, June 6th.
