mgk Kicks Off His Nu Metal Era Alongside Fred Durst On "FIX UR FACE"

As a fellow Ohioan, I usually feel the need to apologize for Machine Gun Kelly. This time, however, he may have pulled it out of the bag, as the Cleveland native dropped "FIX UR FACE," a nu metal anthem complete with a feature from Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst. Complete with a black-and-white music video filmed in Nashville, TN earlier this year, the track feels ripped straight out of 2000, but with a bit more self-awareness and a rattling bass line.

While Durst plays second fiddle, acting as more of a hype man as opposed to a full feature, the endorsement is no small one, given Durst's reputation as a poster boy for the nu world. It's sure to create opinions on either end of the spectrum, but either way, it's here.
