Alt-metal weirdos Primus are a month removed from their European tour, which saw the trio celebrate their new EP A Handful Of Nuggs. The four-track release was anchored by a new song in "The Ol' Grizz," which featured a music video animated by bassist/frontman Les Claypool's son Cage. Now, the band's New Year Eve shows, set to take them to Oakland, CA's FOX Theater, will be dubbed "Here Comes The Grizz."
In their announcement, the band explain the benefits of the "Lucky Bastard" VIP package, stating:
Here come the Grizz! Primus will ring in the New Year with a two night run on 12/30 & 31 at The Fox Theater in Oakland, CA.
‘Lucky Bastard’ VIP Experience packages will be offered in limited supply for each night. The package includes 1 GA ticket, access to a pre-show Q&A session with the band, an autographed limited-edition VIP poster, early entry to the venue, crowd-free merchandise shopping, and an onsite event host.
