Today (May 12th) is the premiere of Devil May Cryi season two on Netflix, with the Adi Shankar adaptation of the hit Capcom game series hitting the platform once again. As was previously announced, the soundtrack boasts a bevy of nu metal acts, chief among them this time around being Papa Roach, who have partnered with rapper Hanumankind for a new song, "See U In Hell."
Just as Evanescence's "Afterlife" before it, the song is a poignant, energetic track meant to showcase the gravity of the season's events. The animated music video has the feel of an AMV of old, that of a fan-made tribute to someone's favorite anime scenes and characters. Papa Roach don't rap much these days, instead going for a more traditional hard rock sound, but Hanumankind's bars in the second verse help bring a depth to "See U In Hell."
