Australian hyperpop and alt-rock artist RinRin has officially signed with Fearless Records, joining the label's global roster that boasts artists like Don Broco, TSS, and Wage War, among countless others in the rock and metal spheres. To mark the occasion, she's dropped the track "fever dream," a colorful expression of energy in the face of a world set to bring us down.
As the artist herself puts it:
"This song's a hype song for when you're feeling down. You're not going to let your sadness stop you from achieving your goals and dreams. Being sad is basic bitch shit... who wants to do that?"
One listen to "fever dream" and a viewing of its music video makes this clear. Space buns and all, RinRin shows her childlike wonderment and bouncing on the heels of her feet, even with the mundanity around her in abundance. It's instantly catchy, hum-along-able in the best ways, and it's a great first outing for RinRin for her new home label.
