Amy Lee's vocal stylings are the stuff of modern legend, and have become something of an auditory touchstone in regards to voices in modern rock and metal. Be they for Evanescence, her features with artists such as Halsey, or her own solo work, Lee's vocals are top-notch and have consistently been for decades by this point.
In a recent video on Evanescence's socials, Lee rehearsed before one of the band's upcoming Australia shows, with the iconic frontwoman using the acoustics of a stairwell in the venue to her advantage. The result is a treat for the ears, with Lee's raw vocals able to shine in a "calm before the storm" moment behind the curtain.
