English alt-rock quartet Artio are on the verge of something big, presumably something to follow up their debut LP Babyface. They dropped what is likely the album's first single "Split Soul" in May, and now the queer rage purveyors are throwing it back to their roots with a cover of Twenty One Pilots' "Hometown."
The song originally appeared on Rock Sound's tribute compilation Blurryface Reborn, which also features artists such as Bambie Thug, AWOLNATION, and The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. The release celebrated 10 years of Twenty One Pilots' landmark album, best known for songs such as "Stressed Out" and "Ride."
Artio also recorded samples of construction and other ambience from their native Leeds to use on the track. Check out the song, now available on streaming, below:
