Melodic metalcore band August Burns Red have announced this year's dates for Christmas Burns Red, the band's own winter music festiva.. The Festival will continue to be at the Lancaster Marriott Hotel and Convention Center. Previous acts on the bill in have included Kaonashi, Texas in July, No Cure, R3verent, The Callous Daoboys, and War of Ages.
Tickets are currently $236 USD for one ticket, including lodging at the hosting hotel, with a discounted rate for groups. A hotel stay without a festival ticket is currently is $102 USD. The Dec 3rd kickoff party this year is about $25 USD on its own.
The lineup hasn't been announced, nor has the band's setlist, but with a new album coming June 5th in Season of Surrender, there will be plenty of new material to ring in the heavy holiday. The band has also been adding more and more heavier, non-metalcore acts to the recurring lineup, so there's a good chance for another hardcore or deathcore band at the fest this year.
