Hollywood Undead Call Out For A "SAVIOR" With New Track

The band's first offering of 2025 is a mature and contemplative cut.

Hollywood Undead have come a long way from their MySpace days, sampling "Crazy Train" and writing one of the greatest party jams of all time in "Everywhere I Go." Their most recent offering feels so removed from the old HU that some may have a hard time believing that it's the same band. It's no secret that Danny Murillo's arrival in 2009 marked a fundamental change in the band's look and sound, but with "Savior," the evolution seems to have reached its watershed.

For one, it's a straightforward hard rock tune, employing the time-tested quiet verse, loud chorus structure, punctuating moments with screams and foregoing the rapping for the most part. Even Johnny 3 Tears' bridge is only semi-rapped, going for a melodic delivery in his signature baritone. Lapsed fans will be caught off-guard, but hopefully pleasantly surprised, while seasoned Undead will sing and scream along.

The band are currently recording their ninth studio album, and will be touring alongside Falling In Reverse later this summer.
