Two of the most popular accounts in the TikTok nu metal community have joined forces to deliver a new banging track for us. Mad Kelly and Enzo Ferrari, vocalist of maybe not safe, have become familiar faces on social media over the years by posting nu metal-centric videos such as music recommendations and fashion/styling videos. They've even collaborated on videos together in the past.
Nu metal isn't just an online gimmick for Mad Kelly and Enzo Ferrari though, they embody it. They've contributed to the burgeoning revival of the popularity of nu metal through their recommendations but also with their own artistic ventures. Mad Kelly has been on fire since the 2022 release of human and the numerous singles and cover songs. maybe not safe formed in January of 2025, and each track released since has built the foundations for a strong catalog. Both acts blend the nostalgic sound of the late 90's and early 2000's with their own modern twist on the genre.
While we all love to spin the classics such as Hybrid Theory, Around The Fur, and Significant Other, it is also important to embrace the new wave of nu metal that is currently being produced. There's some good shit out there; maybe not safe and Mad Kelly are just two of them. "On the Road" is for fans of Linkin Park, Deftones, and Limp Bizkit but be warned, it will get stuck in your head. Everything from the vocals, the beat, and the guitar riffs are incredibly catchy.
