Christmas Burns Red has a stacked full lineup with, one special guest still to be announced. This year's festival, as run by August Burns Red in Lancaster, PA, is packed to the brim with new and old favorites. Whether that be myspace revival deathcore newcomers Reverent and Psycho-Frame, or older bands such as War of ages or progressive metal virtuosos Animals as Leaders.
However, August Burns Red themselves will no longer be playing their full sets like previous years, as they have announce the following on socials:
NOTE: One night will feature songs from Thrill Seeker and one night will feature songs from FIFAP. These will not be full album plays to allow time for us to play songs from many of our records. We know a lot of folks travel from far away for this and everyone has different favorite records!!
And while The Callous Daoboys maybe the only nu metal or nu-adjacent band on the list, this year still sure will be a hell of a time. If I had a way of describing this year, this is for the crowd-killers and karate moshers, especially with bands like No Cure on the bill. So grab your dancing shoes and hope you have an insurance card handy, cuz you may need it.
Christmas Burns Red is set to take place around December 12-13 at the Lancaster Convention Center and Freedom Hall. Three-day tickets and lodging comes to around $346 USD. Single-day tickets are currently sitting at $82.40 USD.
