Silent Civilian Announce 'Rebirth Of The Temple' 20th Anniversary Tour, Promise More Shows To Come

Johnny Santos's (Spineshank) metalcore/thrash band will celebrate the album with their first tour in 14 years.

Los Angeles metalcore/thrash metal band Silent Civilian, featuring guitar and vocals from Spineshank singer Johnny Santos have just announced a headlining tour in celebration of their debut album, 2006's Rebirth Of The Temple. Taking place across the west coast and southwest, the 14-date run kicks off December 1st and marks the first time the band has performed live together since 2012. The band went on hiatus from 2013 to 2017 before reforming in 2018.

But that's not all! A day later, Santos took to social media to assure fans this is just the beginning. According to Santos, the setlist will pull from non-Rebirth releases as well: We're not just gonna do the Rebirth; we're also gonna do some stuff off of [the band's second album] Ghost Stories, and we're gonna play a few songs off our upcoming album, The Reckoning."

As if that weren't enough, Santos delivered a special message for the Silent Civilian fans feeling excluded in this first leg of the tour: "For the part of the country that we're not gonna make it to on this run, we are already booking the second leg. We will be hitting every corner of the country, so don't worry. East Coast, South, and Midwest—don't worry, man, we're coming." He adds, "Hopefully we'll make it over the pond at some point [in the next] year too." See the full video post below.
