SKYND Begin Teasing 'Chapter VII,' Offer Insight Into Next Subjects

The English duo begin to leave more evidence as to who will get the musical treatment in 'Chapter VII' of their investigation.

SKYND are picking up the pace in 2026, having released two songs so far in "Mary Bell" and "Andrei Chikatilo." The latter kicked off Chapter VII of the band's ongoing "investigation," and some of their latest posts to socials have offered some insight into what the rest of the chapter may entail.

In an AMA on Instagram, SKYND talked about themes that she's been drawn to lately, which include abuse of power and religious psychosis. Given that past subjects for the band have included John Wayne Gacy and the Heaven's Gate cult, this is far from new territory for the singer and the enigmatic producer Father.

Three songs have been announced for Chapter VII, as has been the case with previous chapters. File_01 is listed as "completed," referring to the release of "Andrei Chikatilo," with file_02 showing "loading..." and file_03 as "pending..." This would also suggest that "Mary Bell" finished the cycle for Chapter VI.
