A couple weeks ago, at their show in Phoenix, AZ, Spiritbox had to eject a fan for being violent in the pit, bringing the show to a stop until the offender was removed. Hiding in the bathroom did little to save the guy's face, as vocalist Courtney LaPlante told him off and made him famous for his amateur fisticuffs.
Of course, because God forbit people go ten seconds on social media without trying to mansplain something, LaPlante got pushback online, with some accusing her of kicking the man out for moshing, saying that she went too far in having him removed. Were this so simple, yes, LaPlante would be in the wrong, as moshing is a time-honored tradition in concerts.
But as she later pointed out on her X (formerly Twitter):

So again, dude was being a dickhead, fans have corroborated this story, and as such, Courtney and Co. were well within their rights to boot the asshole. Let this be a reminder to not be a drunken, belligerent wang at shows, lest you get your 15 minutes of fame for all the wrong reasons. Worst of all, your god will sort you when you die, as the line from "Soft Spine" goes.
