Tool's Adam Jones Showed "Cero Miedo" Re-Working The Entrance Music For WWE's PENTA

The Tool guitarist gave the luchador's entrance theme a six-string overhaul.

On just the second episode WWE RAW on Netflix this past January, lucha libre sensation PENTA made his debut for the company, immediately making an impact on the roster with his presentation, aura, and in-ring performance. Part of this is his entrance music, which while coming from the much-maligned in-house composers def rebel, is instantly recognizable and generates the proper hype for the luchador, just as any good entrance theme should.

This past Monday's episode of RAW saw an updated version of the theme, which received an overhaul from Tool guitarist Adam Jones. Granted, the original take is heavy and electric enough, but there's something about Jones’ fretwork that helps further the song's intensity, along with some wah-pedal goodness that would make Kirk Hammett blush.

The facelift in entrance music may have been an omen, as PENTA captured the win against a recently-returned JD McDonagh, despite several moments of interference from McDonagh's Judgment Day teammates. PENTA goes on to challenge Dominik Mysterio for the WWE Intercontinental Championship this Saturday at Backlash.
