At the helm of the Welsh ragga-metal outfit Skindred is Benji Webbe, whose wardrobe has featured all the colors of the rainbow and all manner of wild and weird headwear. In a new video posted to the band's YouTube channel, Webbe takes viewers behind the scenes to show off his eccentric looks and fashion, offering fans a peek into the mind of one of nu metal's most enduring frontmen.
From classics like King Kong and actors like Shirley Bassey and Christopher Lee, Webbe draws inspiration from all over the artistic spectrum. He even has his own tracksuit a la Jonathan Davis from Korn. Webbe talks about stage traditions like The Sandwich and The Newport Helicopter, his brother making the custom spiked sunglasses, and the origins of the furry white hat from the "You Got This" music video.
