Swollen Teeth Get "Lethal" In Ferocious New Live Video

Rising nu metal disciples less loose a definite version of their anti-police brutality screed

Swollen Teeth recently put out another live video for "Lethal," the anti-police brutality screed that closes the band's eponymous debut EP. The performance is taken from the band's show at Théâtre Beanfield in Montreal on October 25, 2025, as part of Biohazard's Divided We Fall Tour.

Hands up / Hands up / Hands up / Hands up / Don’t shoot

The mysterious band has a lot of fans around here, and with videos like this it's easy to see why. In fact, this rendition, with audio credited to Null and video by The Doctor, may eclipse the studio version. No disrespect to Sid Wilson (Slipknot), who produced the Swollen Teeth EP and co-produced the band's debut full-length, Ask Nothing, but this recording really ups the ante. The guitars and bass take up every available inch in the mix. You can practically feel the stage shaking. And the on-stage theatrics drive the point home for anyone who can't be bothered to look at the lyrics.

Take a step / Take a step back now / Shining your badge as your time runs out

With a sound and energy that recall early Slipknot, it's no wonder Sid Wilson and producer Ross Robinson (Korn, Glassjaw, Limp Bizkit, Sepultura) got involved. Some even speculate the band is actually a full-on Wilson side-project. While that seems unlikely, there's no denying the band's ability to summon raging guitar tones straight out of nu metal's heyday.

While Swollen Teeth performed two shows in support of Boston metalcore legends Vanna back in January, the band currently has nothing scheduled in the immediate future. Here's hoping that changes soon.
