It was the great Tommy Lee who made the claim that every great rock record needs a sex song. If this is the case for Combichrist, I think they've been disqualified from the jump. The EBM/industrial metal legends partnered up with modern nu metal machine King 810 for "Demons Wanna Be Summoned," opting for a sinister slow jam with some rather NSFW lyrics and imagery.
I wanna come in you, I wanna be juvenile for you, I wanna be pure as the virgin snow
Holy contradiction, Batman. Ain't nothing pure about this song, and let's not get into the fascination with virgins and purity.
It's an unexpected number for either camp, but musically, it works. It's an uneasy, dare I say sexy execution, but the lyrics and, for the matter, the vocals, take away from the experience. It's like a conversation during the deed, and it kills the mood almost instantly.

Combichrist are set to headline this year's Dark Force Fest in Parsippany, NJ. King 810 will make their way to Mansfield, OH for Inkcarceration this July after embarking on a tour of Europe.
