Dropout Kings have turned tragedy into triumph, having released their latest album Yokai after the untimely passing of co-vocalist Adam Ramey last May. They've been on the road since, and with a tour with GHØSTKID coming in the spring of 2027, the trap metal outfit have released a music video for their song "Deadname."
Usually a man of many words, vocalist Black Cat Bill keeps it simple in discussing the track:
"Some songs you sing, others you let the spirits speak through you. This is 'Deadname.'"
Said video calls upon They Live and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, with a dizzying neon backdrop to highlight the technically tense times we're in.
