Brighton brats Eville have embraced a heavier, more guttural side in their recent work, namely on songs like "fetch," but with their latest effort "SLAY," the trio have dropped their heaviest track to date. Vocalist Eva Sheldrake and guitarist/vocalist Jude Richards trade lines throughout, bringing the "beauty and the beast" technique to its modern ends. We know Eva can let loose, but Jude's death growls are top-notch here, outdoing his work thus far.
Irresistibly catchy though it may be, this is some of Eville's most fist-pumping, pit-inducting work yet, and if this is what is to come on the eventual follow-up to their BRAT METAL EP, count us the fuck in.

On the subject of the band's next studio effort, Eville have announced their new EP BRATPOCALYPSE, due out on February 19th. In an Instagram post proclaiming the release, they indicated that "SLAY" is the first single from it, which would suggest that "fetch," "Flip Phone," and "BLOW UP!" will not appear on it. If this means that they're carrying on a heavier, brattier tone come this time 'round, then have at, gang.
In the meantime, the band will be touring alongside Rising Insane later this month, as well as headlining a run of dates to commemorate the aforementioned new EP. Those dates and cities are as follows:
