Self-proclaimed "Cum Metal" band HEALTH surprised fans last night with a 6pm drop on DSPs and a video in the afternoon showing off a music video by film-maker Morethanlethal‬. It combines past music videos, clips of anime, and usual HEALTH bases, as well as an announcement for CONFLICT DLC, due out on December 15th. Its release was first alluded to in the band's line of "VIBE COP" merchandise, which was released during the band's most recent tour with Author & Punisher.

As for the actual song, it may be most upbeat track in the band's history. Of course, the lyrics are melancholy, but it gives a weird feeling I haven't felt in forever. The industrial metal breakdowns in the bridge clash with the upbeat dance beats. The lyrics are a metaphor for the last year and a half, particularly with a world where the shit is hitting the fan:

All there is is bad news / I know we'll be gone soon / Is it just another lie / Or is this real life? / All that's lеft is sadness / I know that I'm nothing / I just wanted one morе night / I'm still afraid to die.

I relate to the fact of wanting to go back to a world we believe is great that may have never felt better in the first place. As much as the world sucks now, a skewed sense of nostalgia is better than a future where no one cares.
