Divorced dads and cigarette moms, your time is now. That's right, alt-metal heavyweights Breaking Benjamin just announced their next headlining North American tour! The month-long 16-date arena tour will commence February 16th in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and include stops in cities like Peoria, Illinois, Uncasville, Connecticut, and Savannah, Georgia. Joining the band will be self-described "cinematic rock" band STARSET, OG nu metal veterans P.O.D., and industrial/alt-metal stalwarts Filter. Pre-sale starts tomorrow, November 5th, with code WICKED. General tickets go live Friday, November 6th.
This announcement arrives roughly half a year out from the release of the band's most recent single, "Something Wicked." The band has been steadily working on their next album, the follow-up to 2018's Ember. While no timeline for the new album has been given, it will presumably include that track and 2024's Gold single "Awaken." This new album will mark the band's first full-length since signing with BMG in 2024.
In addition to this upcoming tour, the band will also appear on the fifth edition of Creed's Summer of 99 & Beyond Cruise, which will run April 17th through the 21st. Featuring bands such as Sevendust, Drowning Pool, and Hoobastank, the cruise is already sold out. However, fans can head over to the cruise's website for a chance to get tickets should they become available. And on May 14th, the band will perform at Boardwalk Rock in Ocean City, Maryland. Tickets are on sale now. Click here for info.
