Recently, Iowa-based metalcore band Vended (featuring Griffin Taylor, son of Corey Taylor from Slipknot on vocals) has shared some clips of them working on new music.
So far we've got only three videos: Two of them with the guitar, and the third one is with drums, and with some information given we can understand what's going on during the recording
The first thing that catches our eye is the description. We can see the ‘Rockfalcon,’ which is the name of the Nashville, TN studio of famous producer Nick Raskulinecz, who is known for his work with Deftones, Korn, Evanescence and Ghost.
This is further confirmed by bass guitarist Jeremiah Pugh's comment on the second video that shows guitars being recorded:
All hail @officialnickraskulinecz
Now, we have got the third clip, which shows the recording of drums for the album:
Yes, the album is indeed recorded in Raskulinecz's studio, but it looks like the drums were recorded in a separate location: Sienna Studios in Nashville.
Now, the only question that remains is when the full album is coming out. We don't know yet, but most likely it’ll be early 2027.
While we wait for the upcoming second album, in the meantime you can visit upcoming Vended shows:
Vended will play in Mexico City alongside Russian deathcore band Slaughter to Prevail, and will also appear on one of the dates of Slipknot’s North America leg during their (sic)est stadium tour.
