Linkin Park Drop Teaser Trailer For New Documentary 'Unshatter'

Fans finally have their first look at the project the band has been teasing over the last few days.

"I'm kind of, like, wandering around from thing to thing" admits Mike Shinoda. "I don't have, like, a purpose," he continues, as his bandmates Joseph Hahn and Dave "Phoenix" Farrell consider the future of Linkin Park. So begins the teaser trailer for Unshatter, a new documentary produced by the band and directed by Hahn covering the creation of 2024's From Zero, their first album since the tragic loss of lead singer Chester Bennington in 2017.

The teaser then cuts to black, over which the following words appear: "The hardest part of ending... is starting again." A mural of the late Bennington fades in. A plaintive cover/mash-up of "In The End" and "Numb" gives way to a barrage of images of the band with their new singer Emily Armstrong (Dead Sara) on stage and taking photos, presumably in the lead-up to the release of From Zero.

This teaser trailer arrives after much speculation from Linkin Park fans in response to carefully placed clues online and across Europe where the band is currently touring. While details are scant, the film looks to be a celebration of the band's resilience. The teaser ends with Shinoda addressing a rabid crowd: "It's good to see you again." If album and ticket sales are any indication, it's safe to say millions of fans the world over feel the same.
