This weekend is Louder Than Life Festival in Louisville, KY, but the show has already seen problems on its first night, as Papa Roach have announced that they will be backing out of the show due to what they are calling an "unexpected emergency" for bass player Tobin Esperance.
In a statement posted to their socials, the band relay:
After careful consideration and advice from medical professionals, Papa Roach bassist Tobin Esperance will be unable to perform this weekend due to an unexpected emergency. Therefore, we will not be able to perform at this year's Louder Than Life Festival, and wish everyone the best.
Right now, Tobin's health is our immediate concern. We look forward to welcoming him back on stage in November and appreciate the continued support and respect for his privacy during this time.
We wish Tobin and the rest of the Papa Roach family the best in this difficult time.
Currently, the band are set for a headline tour of Europe alongside LANDMVRKS and Sleep Theory beginning in November, with the following dates announced:
