Rising Swedish nu-metalcore outfit thrown have just announced their sophomore album. Titled UNWANTED, the record arrives November 6th via Arising Empire. Pre-orders for the physical release are available here.
This new album is the hotly anticipated follow-up to the band's 2024 breakout debut, EXCESSIVE GUILT, and sees the band re-teaming with producer Buster Odeholm (Humanity’s Last Breath, Vildhjarta, Orbit Culture). The eleven-track album includes the singles "split," "rehearsed," and "critic" across a lean and mean 21:01. That makes this the longest thrown release yet.

In just over a week, thrown will begin a headlining U.S. tour in anticipation of UNWANTED. The 14-date tour will feature special guests Norma Jean and HALF ME as well as an appearance at Furnace Fest. On Halloween, fans can see the band performing at the sixth annual Core Fest in Göppingen, Germany. In November, in celebration of the new album, thrown will take on Europe and the UK with support from Counterparts, NO CURE, and Heavensgate. And next February, the band will make their way down to Australia with special guests Boundaries, 156/Silence, and Volatile Ways. Tickets are going fast; click here for more info.
