Reports are indicating that season three of Peacock's Twisted Metal may begin filming soon. The hit action-comedy series features AEW wrestler and The Opps leader Samoa Joe as the iconic Sweet Tooth, and a recent report from Mike Johnson from PWInsider suggests that filming for the show's third season may begin soon.
According to Johnson's report:
Joe is a regular cast member on Peacock's great series Twisted Metal, which is slated to film its third season shortly in Canada.
That is likely the reason for his hiatus.
In storyline, Joe addressed his group and the fans by handing the reins of The Opps to his protege Hook, saying that Hollywood is calling and he will need to take time away from AEW.
