Influential industrial institution Fear Factory just announced a new headlining tour. The trek, scheduled for the second half of November, will serve as the US leg of their Cybernetic Domination Tour and feature support from melodeath veterans Darkest Hour and up-and-coming thrash/groove metal outfit Brotality. Tickets go live Friday, March 13th.
This new tour is just one of several filling out the band's increasingly full schedule. April will see the Gold-selling band make their way down to South America for the Demanufacture – 30th Anniversary Tour celebrating their acclaimed 1995 album Demanufacture. Cybernetic Domination – 35 Years of Fear: Australia & New Zealand Tour, the band's first headlining Australian and New Zealand tour in ten years, will kick off at the end of May in celebration of the band's 35th anniversary. That tour will also feature the band's first ever show in Tasmania.
In October, the band will join forces with the mighty Mushroomhead to co-headline the Soul of a New War Machine Tour. Joining the unholy union of masks and machines will be special guests Mongolian folk metal group Nine Treasures. After the returning to the States for the Cybernetic Domination Tour USA, Fear Factory will finish off the year in Mexico City at Heavy Metal X'Mas Fest with Vektor, Demolition Hammer, Ellende, and Thyrfing.
