ICYMI: Limp Bizkit Goes Indie Folk On Musora

This should NOT work as well as it does.

First off, I'm a little upset that this flew under our radar when it dropped, but better late than never, I suppose.

On the Musora series Covers On The Spot, the indie folk trio Tors are tasked with coming up with their own take on Limp Bizkit's chilled out groove "Re-Arranged," taken from the Jacksonville faithful's second LP Significant Other. It comes out early in the video that the band are running on four hours of sleep, being in the midst of their first North American tour, and this sets the tone for the whole experiment.

The band decry the song on the first listen, making fun of Fred Durst's rapping and criticizing the perceived lack of melody. When they get down to brass tacks, they do their best to make the most of it, transposing the bass line to the banjo, playing with the melodies and harmonies, and turning this into a folksy, bluesy number.

For as over it and grumpy as they were at the start, they seem to come around by the end of the session, and the result is something to behold.
