As of Tuesday, March 10th, 2026, Linkin Park's "Somewhere I Belong," taken from their second album Meteora, has reached one billion streams on Spotify, putting it in the elusive Spotify Billions Club. This collection of billion-listen bangers boasts over 1,200 songs at time of publication, but less than two dozen of them can claim any nu DNA.
Released on February 24th, 2003, the single was the lead single from the eventual octuple Platinum album. It would reach number one on two different Billboard charts (US Alternative Airplay and Mainstream Rock), with the single itself receiving certifications from seven different national recording associations. As for the Spotify Billions Club, it is the band's seventh inclusion (eight if you include "Numb / Encore" with Jay-Z, which we absolutely do).
