Last night at Dynasty in Vancouver, BC, AEW Women's World Champion Thekla retained her gold against a returning Jamie Hayter. As such, we're hearing her solo theme "Necrosis" more often, in all of its "People = Shit" main riff-evoking glory.
During the show, composer and AEW Music's main man Mikey Rukus took to Twitter to pull back the curtain on his creative process. In our interview with Rukus, he highlighted his collaboration with the wrestlers he writes for, and Thekla's tune was no different, as Rukus wrote:

When I was working with Thekla on her theme and she heard BLOOD IN MY EYES, she came up with POISON IN MY VEINS.
By the time the theme was done, we would get on the phone and she'd be like MIIIIKEYYYYYY and I'd be like THEEEKLLAAAAAA!
