The Callous Daoboys' Carson Pace: "Neither Of These Songs Are On LP4"

It's a great day to be a Callous Daoboys fan, as the Atlanta outfit just released their new single "Watching Us Kiss," following on from "Gigantic Parasitic Tongue" back in April of this year. While we originally thought that these two songs would feature on the band's as-yet-unannounced fourth studio album, frontman Carson Pace has confirmed that the songs will be standalone singles, which have since been printed to vinyl in a number of colors and designs.

In a tweet, Pace wrote:

Neither of these songs are on LP4 btw. So, this is the only time they'll be available physically.

When a fan expressed their lamentation about the songs not appearing on the new album, Pace then affirmed that the newest tracks would feel "a little out of place" on the upcoming LP, stating:

LP4 is a very different vibe than these two songs, they’d be a little out of place

It's hard to imagine anything sounding truly "out of place" on a Callous Daoboys record, but we will take Pace's word on this one.

When asked about the status of the impending album, Pace asserts that "it's like 70% there":

With the Daoboys spending much of the rest of 2026 on tour, between their North American tour in September and their EU/UK supporting gig with Enter Shakira this November, we can safely assume that the album is coming in the new year, though an announcement may not be far off.
