Following the US midterm elections on Tuesady, a clip has been going viral on Instagram, showing Senator-Elect James Talarico (D-TX) at the show of American rock band Turnstile, giving some handshakes and showing to respect to locals at the scene.
Talarico, who was representing the Democratic party, was going against Ken Paxton from the Republican party, with Talarico winning with 55.1% of people who voted for him, while Paxton had only 43%. This 12-point victory was one of the key races, marking a first for Texas' senators since 1988, and it would appear that the senator-to-be is one of us, with the candid evidence to prove it.
It is unclear if this is from the band's appearance at Austin City Limits last month, or if this was from their benefit show at the National Mall in Washington, DC, both of which happened in October, but Instagram user krisxface is the one to thank for capturing this one.
